Much of our elite today — school teachers, professors, actors, writers, technocrats, politicians, even parents — favor public policies that in truth promote hedonism, sloth, degeneracy, censorship, discrimination, and even death, as in abortion.
To accomplish that, they are willing to demonize and destroy foundational ideals and criticize groups that promote commitment and the protection of mental health, such as marriage, the nuclear family, and the Church.
It is so ingrained now. It’s unfortunate that so many of our youth and even adults today question and criticize the existence of men and women, beauty standards, healthy lifestyle choices, and the obviously horrifying results of unrestrained sex.
Has history taught us nothing? People suffer when conventions are destroyed. And it’s the young and defenseless who suffer the most.
Today’s scourge is the plan to implement Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, or DEIB, in schools and government. (The letter “B” is new. As we all know, when the Left sees trouble coming, they modify their own made-up terms to throw people off. It’s insane.)
Under the pretext of diversity, the true goal is conformity. Under the guise of equity, some people are demanding entitlements and reparations. Under the shimmer of inclusion, only those who speak leftist woke will be included. And, under Belonging, what we will get is more division and isolation.
Who wins? In truth, no one. Not you, not me, not our children.
DEI/DEIB is misguided and unnecessary. It promotes an anti-American worldview that young people have begun to adopt to self-marginalize, self-limit, point fingers, seek retribution, and exempt themselves from personal responsibility and accountability. Overall, DEI/DEIB will shift the American locus of control from internal strengths and self-empowerment to external docility and weak-minded compliance. It is truly sad.
Beyond love God, and love your neighbor, what more is needed? Is it not clear that DEI/DEIB will be used against some by some? That’s already in evidence. Where the tyranny of the majority was once of concern to our founders, it is now the tyranny of the minority under which we suffer. Today’s bully is yesterday’s weakling! How ironic! The solution is no better than what we had before: a bully is a bully is a bully.
The bottom line is this. DEI/DEIB teaches our children that victims are colored and oppressors are white, that sodomy and sex change operations are an expression of love and perfectly normal, and that identity matters more than character. It has no other goal! Drill down and see for yourselves. The evidence is organized to fit the crime regardless of the fact that society has in many cases already righted itself!
School boards need to let all this nonsense pass. They need to move on, trust in God, and focus on the fundamentals. (For further reading on this subject, see the article in American Thinker below.)
